
Krish faced the impact of a critical mineral shortage on advanced manufacturing during his time at Tesla. He joined Stanford as a Knight-Hennessy Scholar, to complete an MBA and Masters with the goal of onshoring critical minerals. Previously Krish worked at McKinsey, and studied finance at Wharton. Krish is an Activate Fellow and featured in Forbes 30 Under 30.

Jorge is a chemist with 12 years of experience working on productive use of industrial byproducts. His work on industrial byproducts focused on replacing cement with SCMs, thereby lowering cost of infrastructure. He was an NSF Graduate Research Fellow, GAANN fellow, and an ASEE eFellow.

Monica is a materials scientist with decades of experience in advanced characterization, corrosion science, and bioprocessing. She has worked across industries—from energy to biotech—developing patented analytical methods and scaling operations from lab to pilot scale. Monica holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from UC Berkeley and is passionate about bridging science and manufacturing to drive innovation.

Maryam is a chemical engineer with a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering. She has led projects in catalyst development, process optimization, and scale-up, with a focus on reducing the carbon footprint of industrial processes. Her work spans both academic and startup environments, where she has helped translate research into scalable, real-world solutions. Outside of work, she’s passionate about travel, backpacking, and strength training.
